Bachelor: The Unauthorized Musical Parody is a dynamic stage production born from the vibrant comedy scene at Upright Citizens Brigade, with roots tracing back to UC Berkeley origins. Created by writer-performer Richelle Meiss, this LA-based project evolved from a campus and improv-driven concept into a full-length musical that blends sharp parody with original songs. The production features music by Sam Johnides and Tony Gonzalez, who collaborate under the creative umbrella of The Sam & Tony Show, and are also known for their project Diary of Atticus. Directed by Tim Drucker, the show has drawn attention for its witty reinventions of familiar tropes and catchy music.
