Meet Jeannette Casuga Trevias — a dynamic performer known for her 1970s–80s showband roots, versatile repertoire, and a career spanning the Philippines and Hawaii. Born and raised in the Philippines, Trevias earned a Bachelor of Music in piano from the University of Santo Tomas and captured early attention by winning the Asian Yamaha Electone Competition in Singapore at age 16. Representing Asia at the International Yamaha Festival and receiving the Kawakami Award for Most Promising Talent solidified her status as a rising star in the Pacific Rim music scene. After serving as musical director for celebrated Filipino artists, including Lea Salonga and Kuh Ledesma, she relocated to Honolulu in 1993, where she has headlined at iconic venues such as Blue Note Hawaii and performed with local artists across jazz clubs, dinner cruises, and resort settings. Her genre-blending shows span jazz standards, pop rock, Latin, R&B, and Hawaiian music, reflecting a lifelong passion for connecting with audiences through memorable live performances. Trevias continues to engage Hawaii audiences with new appearances in 2025, bringing the warmth and sparkle of the 70s era to contemporary stages.
