Formed in 2015 by guitarist and vocalist Raha Javanfar, the band revives forgotten tunes by legendary women of the 1950s and 1960s—think Memphis Minnie, Big Maybelle, and Ella Johnson—while weaving in sharp original material. With a tight lineup featuring Fraser Melvin on guitar, Andrew Moljgun on sax and keys, and Jonathan Hyde on drums, the group delivers a dynamic set that blends vintage vibe with modern energy.
