Bad Veins emerged in 2007 from Cincinnati, Ohio, led by Benjamin Davis (vocals, guitar, keyboards) with rotating drummers contributing to the distinctive live sound. The duo’s debut, Bad Veins, released on Dangerbird Records in 2009, introduced the world to the acclaimed single Gold and Warm; its companion track Go Home was recognized by USA Today as a Top 20 Song of 2009 and the former gained broader exposure after appearing on Good Morning America in 2010. The band continued with The Mess We've Made (2012) and The Mess Remade (2015), a remix/re-recording of the 2012 album. After an eight-year pause, Bad Veins released Imposter in December 2023, led by the synth-forward single Wendy and praised as a bold return to form. Their music has appeared on TV shows like Queer Eye and Santa Clarita Diet, and they’ve toured with acts including Walk the Moon, Two Door Cinema Club, Frightened Rabbit, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, and St Lucia. Bad Veins has performed at SXSW in 2014 and 2015, cementing their status as a dynamic live act. Follow along with official channels for the latest news and tour updates.
