What reaches the room
Bailadores de Bronce is a long-standing Mexican folklorico dance company based in the Seattle area. Founded in 1972 by University of Washington students, this not-for-profit, volunteer-run organization preserves and presents traditional Mexican regional dances and costumes across the Pacific Northwest. Their work celebrates communities and keeps regional dance forms alive—from Jalisco and Veracruz to Oaxaca, Colima, and Tabasco—through performances, education, and community events. As a respected cultural ambassador, Bailadores de Bronce has earned recognition such as the Governor’s Heritage Arts Award (2012) and celebrated a 50th anniversary in 2023.
