Ball State Statesmen Tickets

The Ball State Statesmen, historically the tenor/bass backbone of Ball State University’s choral program, have evolved into what is now known as Cardinal Chorus. This ensemble is part of Ball State’s rich choral tradition, performing a diverse repertoire that spans from classical motets to contemporary choral works. The group rehearses regularly, collaborates with other Ball State choirs, and serves as ambassadors for the university on regional and national stages.

As the successor to Ball State’s former Statesmen, Cardinal Chorus continues the mission of high-caliber choral artistry while expanding its collaborative reach. Public performances are typically hosted at Sursa Performance Hall, a premier venue for Ball State’s musical performances, where audiences can experience the warmth of a cappella pieces alongside richly accompanied works.

Ball State’s choral program emphasizes accessibility and community. Rehearsals run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 4:20 p.m., in the Hargreaves Music Building (MU) 123 and Hahn Hall, MI.
