Founded and directed by artistic director Katie Bissinger, BAS has a 64-year history of nurturing artistry, technique, and performance. Our comprehensive programs span Classical Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, Theater Dance, Contemporary, and Hip Hop, with additional opportunities through the Dutchess Dance Company (DDC), BAS’s pre-professional company established by Valerie Feit in 1994.
