Ballet Folklorico de Mexico is one of the world's most celebrated companies dedicated to Mexican folklore, combining tradition, artistry, and storytelling on stage. Since its founding in 1952 by Amalia Hernández, the company has brought pre-Columbian and modern Mexican culture to audiences worldwide from its permanent home at Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City. With a repertoire spanning more than 120 ballets and a company of roughly 60 dancers and musicians, they have performed before more than 45 million spectators globally.
