About Ballet Idaho: founded in 1972, the company operates as Boise’s leading professional ballet company and academy, offering professional productions, robust youth training through the Ballet Idaho Academy, and community engagement through arts education. In the 2025–2026 season, Ballet Idaho presents an exciting lineup including Sherlock / Giselle (Oct 10–12, 2025), The Nutcracker (Dec 13–23, 2025), Anthology (Feb 13–21, 2026), Peter and the Wolf (Apr 3–4, 2026), and Cinderella (Jun 5–7, 2026). The organization was honored as Arts Idaho 2025 grant recipient for Learning Through Dance Arts Education, and received the 2025 Mayor’s Award for Excellence in Arts & History.
