Since its founding in 1986 by Mary Beth Cabana, the company has grown into a dynamic voice for classical and contemporary ballet. Under the artistic direction of Margaret Mullin since 2022, Ballet Tucson continues to bring rich storytelling and athletic artistry to the stage, with a commitment to accessible, high-quality dance for all audiences.

During the holiday season, Ballet Tucson partners with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra for The Nutcracker, performed at the Linda Ronstadt Music Hall, delivering a festive experience for families and ballet lovers alike. Looking ahead, the 2025/2026 season Be Moved features programs such as Steps Forward, Magic in the Moonlight, The Nutcracker, and Desert Voices, inviting audiences to connect with movement and story in new and moving ways.
