Ballet Virginia International Tickets

Founded in 2008 by Suzanne Lownsbury and Janina Michalski, Ballet Virginia International (BVII) is a nonprofit ballet company serving the Hampton Roads community from its two home locations in Norfolk and Virginia Beach. BVII operates as both a professional company and a community-centered arts organization, collaborating with regional venues and partners to bring classical and contemporary ballet to a wide audience. The company’s flagship production, The Nutcracker, features a live orchestra with Symphonicity and regularly fills theaters like The Sandler Center for the Performing Arts in Virginia Beach.

BVII publishes a dynamic season of performances and educational programs, including family-friendly matinees and outreach events designed to inspire dancers and audiences alike. As a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit, BVII relies on community support, grants, and partnerships to sustain its mission of accessible, high-quality ballet across Hampton Roads.
