BalletForte is a nonprofit pre-professional ballet company based in Fort Bend County, Texas. Founded in 1996 by Artistic Director Michael Banigan and Dianne Jarrell, BalletForte operates from the Fort Bend Academy of Dance (FBAD) as its home studio, guiding young dancers through rigorous training and performance opportunities. The company is dedicated to artistic excellence, community engagement, and introducing audiences to high-caliber ballet with a focus on education and outreach through its home base at FBAD.

Upcoming Tour & 30th Nutcracker Milestone: BalletForte’s 2025 season features En Avant at The Stafford Centre in Stafford, TX on September 29, 2025, followed by The Nutcracker at The Stafford Centre from December 12–14, 2025. This Nutcracker season marks BalletForte’s 30th annual production, a milestone highlighted by local press as a centerpiece of the year. Clara’s Tea, an immersive family event, is scheduled for December 7, 2025, at Safari Texas Ranch in Richmond, TX, offering a festive prelude to the Nutcracker performances.
