BalletMet Dance Academy Annual Spring Performance Tickets

The BalletMet Dance Academy is a leading Columbus dance program affiliated with a professional company, with a rich history dating to 1974. The academy grew into BalletMet Dance Academy in 1978 when BalletMet, the professional company, formed. Each year, the academy welcomes roughly 1,300 students, offering pathways from Levels 1 through Trainee to share the stage with the professional company. The Annual Spring Performance, held in late May to early June at the Davidson Theatre, showcases student progress with live musical accompaniment for many performances. This event is a cherished Columbus tradition and a showcase of BalletMet’s educational approach.

Beyond the academy, BalletMet’s professional company performs 60–70 shows annually across Columbus and on tour, with a reputation that extends to tours across 28 states and several countries. The 2025 North American tour included a Minneapolis engagement at Northrop Auditorium on March 28, 2025, featuring works such as Miroirs, Timeless Tide, and Seasons. Anticipate BalletMet’s 2025/26 season, including Remi Remi Remi (Oct 17–25, 2025), The Nutcracker (Dec 11–28, 2025), For the Love of Dance! (Mar 20–28, 2026), and La Bohème (May 13–17, 2026).
