Hailing from Bamako, Bamba Wassoulou Groove is a landmark Malian act known for its heavy guitar-driven wall of sound, blending funk, rock, and traditional Bambara Wassoulou influences. Founded in 2013 by Bamba Dembélé, the project carried forward after Dembélé's passing in 2018 with Moussa Diabaté taking the lead. The band’s music is often described as a psychedelic blues journey with trance-like vocals that reverberate through both club stages and festival crowds.
