Founded in 1998 in San Francisco by Dan Strachota (Brother Grimm), Johnnie Lieske (Pink Frankenstein), and Alan Parowski (Cali Kid), Bardot A Go Go has become a hallmark of San Francisco's retro dance scene. Their Bastille Day Dance Party blends 1960s French pop and yé-yé with vibrant go-go visuals, driving the crowd with a nostalgic yet electrifying vibe. The party began as a Bastille Day event in July 1999 at Club Cocodrie, moved to 330 Ritch in the early 2000s, and relocated to Rickshaw Stop with its opening in 2004. This page celebrates the performer behind the iconic event, along with background, discography highlights, and current touring info.
