Barron Ryan is a distinguished pianist and composer whose work spans classical performance, commissioned pieces, and innovative collaborations. From his debut album Classical with Attitude (2013) to The Masters’ Apprentice (2017) and First of Its Kind (2021), Ryan demonstrates a voice that honors tradition while pushing artistic boundaries. Notably, his commissioned Tulsa Massacre project earned recognition as a Smithsonian Ten Innovators to Watch in 2021. In 2023, Arises Light in the Darkness, a trio work featuring violin and strings, premiered and was released as an album in 2024 with collaborators Christopher Whitley (violin) and Sterling Elliott (cello). The 2025 tour showcases his versatility across campus stages, with appearances at Penn State Harrisburg, Kutztown University, Frederick, Ball State University, and a date in Sistersville, WV.
