Barry Katz is a distinguished figure in the comedy world, known not as a stand-up performer but as a powerhouse talent manager, producer, and industry connector. He founded the Boston Comedy Club (1988–2005) and co-founded Comedy Dynamics, helping shape the careers of some of comedy’s biggest names. As an executive producer, Katz contributed to the Emmy-nominated Last Comic Standing and Grammy-nominated comedy albums, including Jay Mohr: Happy. And A Lot. He also hosts the Industry Standard podcast, where he interviews industry leaders and peers.
