The Bathurst Bears bring professional basketball to Bathurst, New Brunswick, representing the region in the Empire City Basketball League (ECBL). Announced by the City of Bathurst on December 9, 2021, the Bears marked a new era for local sport with a focus on community engagement, competitive play, and accessible ticket options.
