Bay of Life: From Winds to Whales Tickets

Bay of Life: From Winds to Whales pairs renowned photographer Frans Lanting with writer-editor Christine Eckstrom for a compelling journey through marine and coastal ecosystems. Through large-scale nature photography and evocative storytelling, the project brings attention to life at the wind-swept edge of the sea. Since its fall 2022 book release with Earth Aware Editions/Weldon Owen, Bay of Life has toured galleries across California, presenting immersive exhibitions that invite viewers to engage with conservation-minded narratives. Exhibitions have graced venues such as Santa Cruz Museums of Art & History (Jan 2023–Apr 2023) and the Monterey Museum of Art (May–Aug 2024), with CSUMB hosting a campus exhibition (Mar–Aug 2024). Upcoming 2025 workshops offer hands-on opportunities to explore Bay of Life’s approach to environmental storytelling, including sessions in Monterey (Feb 8–9, 2025) and Santa Cruz (Apr 29–30, 2025).
