Based in Springfield, Ohio, Behind The Curtain Dance Studio (BTCDS) has become a cornerstone of the local dance and cheer community since its inception in late 2013. Founded by Erica Sheeley Spirk, BTCDS started in a church gym with just 19 students and grew into a thriving program with approximately 450 students, 13 teachers, and over 120 classes offered weekly. BTCDS operates both recreational and competitive squads, including Vipz, Stars, Iconz, and Celebritiez, across a broad spectrum of styles.
