Behrouz Vossoughi, born Khalil Vossoughi on March 11, 1937 in Khoy, Iran, is one of Iran’s most influential and enduring actors. With a career stretching from 1958 to the present, he has appeared in more than 90 films and stage productions, earning a place among Persian cinema’s all-time greats. He is celebrated for iconic roles in classic Iranian cinema such as Qeysar (1969), The Deer (1974), and Caravans (1978), as well as acclaimed international co-productions.
