Berklee American Roots Music Program Tickets

The Berklee American Roots Music Program (ARMP) was founded in 2009 at Berklee College of Music to study and celebrate American roots music across genres including blues, bluegrass, Cajun, folk, gospel, old-time, and more. The program also explores broader roots influences from Bach to traditional African music, offering a holistic look at how these strands create today’s American roots sound. Led by Artistic Director Matt Glaser, ARMP benefits from a distinguished board of advisors featuring icons like Bela Fleck, David Grisman, Ricky Skaggs, Darol Anger, Liz Carroll, and Leo Kottke, who guide curriculum and guest programming. ARMP provides an American Roots Music Minor for Berklee undergraduates, allowing students to weave roots music studies into their degree path while auditioning through Berklee for admission.
