The Berklee Middle Eastern Festival is a distinguished performer series developed and directed by Christiane Karam, Associate Professor in the Berklee Voice Department. As part of Berklee’s Signature Series, it highlights innovative cross-cultural collaborations between regional guest artists and Berklee ensembles. Past editions have explored Armenia, Syria, Persia, and broader Mediterranean and Balkan traditions, presenting celebrated artists such as Tigran Hamasyan, Kenan Adnawi, and Javier Limón. The festival brings together performers, mentors, and students for immersive concerts and workshops in Boston.
