Big Gay Sing began in 2009 as a bold, interactive performance concept developed by the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus (NYCGMC). Known for on-screen lyrics, audience participation, and larger-than-life staging featuring drag and humor, this format reimagines choral performances as a party you attend with friends. It’s since become a franchised concept, adopted by choirs across the United States and around the world, bringing inclusive, high-energy storytelling to stages large and small.
