Big Summer Classic traces its origins to the dynamic 2005 traveling festival scene produced by SCI and key partners like Madison House, with New Monsoon helping open the festival stages. The project showcased a who’s who of the jam and roots scenes, including The String Cheese Incident (SCI), Keller Williams, Umphrey's McGee, Yonder Mountain String Band, and Michael Franti & Spearhead. Over the years, the festival touched iconic venues such as Red Rocks, Schaumburg, and White River State Park in Indianapolis, weaving a multi-stop live music experience across the country.
