The Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra is a storied ensemble rooted in Binghamton, New York, with a history dating back to 1955. Originally founded as the Binghamton Symphony and Choral Society, it merged with BC Pops in 1996 to form the Binghamton Philharmonic, delivering engaging orchestral performances and community musical programming for the Southern Tier. Led by Music Director Daniel Hege since 2018 (and serving as Principal Guest Conductor from 2016), the orchestra continues to present vibrant programs that span classical masterworks, pops concerts, and bold new commissions.
