Biriba Union is a dynamic performer collective weaving a rich tapestry of sounds that spans continents and genres. With members including Grammy-winning cellist Mike Block, Grammy-nominated artist Christylez Bacon, and Uruguayan bassist Patricia Ligia, the project melds hip-hop and Go-go with Brazilian forró and choro, American roots, jazz, and touches of classical influence. The debut album, released in Fall 2025 on Bright Shiny Things, showcases their signature blend and collaborative spirit. The debut single Pompano dropped on January 13, 2026, and is available across major platforms, including Apple Music and Spotify.
