Founded in 1954, Bishop Blanchet High School (BBHS) is a cornerstone of the Seattle arts community, notable for its historic status as the first Catholic coeducational high school in the Archdiocese of Seattle. Nestled near Green Lake, BBHS blends academic excellence with a robust performing arts program. The school supports a five-choir vocal program, a comprehensive band, and drama offerings that span a fall play, a student-directed one-act festival, and a spring musical. Performing arts productions are staged at the Moore Theatre in downtown Seattle, a historic venue that has hosted BBHS productions including Camelot (2024).
