Bizhiki is a forward-thinking artist project rooted in Indigenous musical traditions and contemporary electronic textures. Originating from the creative energy of Eaux Claires in 2015, Bizhiki brings together the voices of Dylan Bizhikiins Jennings, Joe Rainey Sr., and collaborators like S. Carey of Bon Iver to craft a sound that is both ancestral and avant-garde. The project released the 11-track LP Unbound (2024) on Jagjaguwar, featuring the leading single Gigawaabamin (Come Through) with Mike Sullivan and tracks that push powwow singing into expansive, ambient spaces.

As a rising name in indie and experimental scenes, Bizhiki has been recognized as one of Best New Bands of 2024 by First Avenue and received support from arts grants to back Unbound. Live performances blend traditional hand drums, ceremonial singing, and cutting-edge production, creating immersive experiences for diverse audiences.

Upcoming appearances include a Weisman Art Museum show in Minneapolis on April 25, 2025, and a run of Native Art Market events and performances in Madison in November 2025, including appearances at Arts + Literature Laboratory and UW–Madison Shannon Hall.
