The live experience
What reaches the room
Black & 25 In America is a powerful one-man stage production written and performed by Jeremy Gillett. Through a series of character vignettes, the show examines what it means to be young, Black, and navigating identity in America. The piece has earned recognition in regional theatre circles, including the Irene Ryan Acting Award at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (Region 4). While not a music performance, this intimate solo work delivers sharp social insight, crafted through monologue, movement, and storytelling.
