Biographical spotlight: The Black Radio concept stems from Robert Glasper’s influential Black Radio albums, including Black Radio (2012, Blue Note) and Black Radio 2 (2013, Blue Note), culminating in Black Radio III (2022, Loma Vista). The project earned Best R&B Album at the 55th Grammy Awards in 2013 and again for Black Radio III at the 65th Grammys in 2023.
