Blackburn College has a rich basketball tradition as a charter member of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) since 1989. Home games are played at Dawes Gymnasium, featuring the esteemed M.C. Court. The Beavers have captured SLIAC tournament championships in 1991, 1992, 2005, 2021, and 2022 and earned NCAA Division III Tournament bids in 2003 and 2005. The program continues to honor its legacy with a 2024 Athletics Hall of Fame induction class and a 2026 class that recognizes the 2004–05 and 2005–06 men’s basketball teams.
