What reaches the room
BlazeFest was a community-focused hip-hop festival organized by Valdosta State University's WVVS Blaze FM. Held on the VSU front lawn across multiple years (notably 2011–2015), the festival showcased local and regional urban acts in a series of free-admission events. While BlazeFest operated as a festival rather than a touring artist, it left a lasting impression on the Valdosta music scene by providing a dedicated platform for local talents and fans to connect in a community setting. This page collects what we know about BlazeFest, its origins, and its cultural significance in southern Georgia.
