The Blues After Hours Tribute to Mai Cramer is more than a concert — it’s a celebration of a Boston blues pioneer and a cherished fundraising tradition. Mai Cramer created Blues After Hours on WGBH Radio in 1978, hosting the show for 24 years until her passing in 2002. Her influence helped shape Boston’s blues scene, connecting artists with passionate listeners and bringing soulful, late-night blues to the airwaves. Today, the annual tribute benefits the Ellie Fund, aiding breast cancer patients and families in need. The 16th edition takes place on October 11, 2025, at Regent Theatre in Arlington, MA, continuing Mai’s legacy with a standout lineup and an atmosphere that feels like a night out with a trusted friend in the business.
