Bolero X & Chamber Tickets

Bolero X & Chamber presents two live dance works that spotlight dynamic storytelling through movement, music, and large-scale ensembles. Choreographed by two influential voices in contemporary dance—Shahar Binyamini and Medhi Walerski—this program offers a rich contrast between reinterpretation and original-score artistry. Bolero X reimagines Ravel’s iconic score with a sweeping ensemble, while Chamber, set to music by Joby Talbot, showcases Walerski’s precision and lyrical depth. The program also features Silent Tides, another Walerski piece that expands the evening with stark, compelling choreography.

About the artists: Medhi Walerski has led Ballet BC as Artistic Director since 2020 and is renowned for his bold, expressive contemporary works, including Silent Tides. Shahar Binyamini, honored by Israel’s Ministry of Culture as a Promising Choreographer in 2021, brings a powerful choreographic voice that redefines scale and texture. Both choreographers are widely regarded as leaders in the field, shaping the future of modern dance.
