Bonde Do Role emerged from Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, in 2005, blending baile funk with electropop and indietronica to create a vibrant, dance-forward sound. Founded by Marina Vello, Pedro D'Eyrot, and Rodrigo Gorky, with Laura Taylor joining the lineup later, the group became a landmark in Brazilian alternative club music. They’ve released influential records on major labels and collaborated with notable artists, shaping the sound of contemporary Brazilian electronic music.
