Formation and early work laid the groundwork for Boot Gun’s ascent in the Denver scene. The band released a string of self-released projects before their debut full-length, including the 2019 double-EP Virginia / Feels Like a Storm and the 2020 EP Take What You Got. Their 2024 debut album, One for the Willing, arrived with self-release branding and quickly drew attention from fans and critics alike. Singles in 2023, such as 'Til It Ain’t' (Nov 17, 2023) and 'Everybody's Talkin'' (Oct 6, 2023), showcased the band’s ability to blend raw energy with hooky melodies.
