Boston University Tanglewood Institute Young Artists Wind Ensemble Tickets

The Boston University Tanglewood Institute Young Artists Wind Ensemble (YAWE) is a premier BU CFA/BUTI program that nurtures wind, brass, and percussion players ages 14–19. Each season, YAWE brings together rising young artists for intensive study, performance, and mentorship under the leadership of Conductor David J. Martins and Director Jennifer Bill. With two highlighted concerts each season in Seiji Ozawa Hall at Tanglewood, YAWE offers a unique opportunity to perform in a world-renowned concert venue while receiving top-tier instruction from BU’s College of Fine Arts and the prestigious BUTI faculty.

YAWE’s 2025 season is supported in part by NEA Grants for Arts Projects, underscoring the program’s impact on young musicians and the wider arts community.
