Bowregard Tickets

Bowregard is a dynamic bluegrass outfit born in Boulder, Colorado, in 2017. With a lineup featuring Max Kabat (guitar/vocals), James Armington (banjo/vocals), Colleen Heine (fiddle/vocals), Zachary Smith (bass/vocals), and Justin Konrad (resophonic guitar), the band quickly established itself as a force on the bluegrass scene. Known for their progressive-traditional approach, Bowregard delivers high-energy, crowd-facing performances anchored by tight three-part vocal harmonies and blistering instrumental lines.

Having won Ullrgrass Bluegrass Band Contest in 2018 and the Telluride Bluegrass Festival band contest in 2019, they earned early recognition as rising stars in the genre. Their debut album, Arrows, released July 1, 2020, was recorded at eTown Studios in Boulder and produced by Nick Forster, with funding secured via Kickstarter. Ahead of the album, they issued notable singles Fallen Angels (June 2020) and High on a Mountain (July 1, 2020), both highlighted by major bluegrass outlets for their fresh take on tradition.
