The Brantford Symphony is a cornerstone of Ontario’s classical music scene, rooted in a long history dating back to 1919 and re-formed in 1948. The current Brantford Symphony was established in 1953 and has grown into a lush, 70-member ensemble dedicated to bringing high-caliber symphonic experiences to audiences of all ages. Under the baton of conductor and artistic director Philip Sarabura since 2008, the orchestra continues to nurture a vibrant cultural life in Brantford and the surrounding region.
