Brass of Peace Tickets

Brass of Peace is a dedicated brass ensemble rooted in community outreach and artistic excellence. Founded in 1977 by Gil Mitchell and now led by Music Director and Conductor Sylvia Alimena since 1990, the group performs free community concerts, in-school Kidshare programs, and broad outreach across the Washington, DC metro area from Peace Lutheran Church in Alexandria, VA. With a history of appearances at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center (Millennium Stage), Brass of Peace combines musical versatility with a mission to empower young musicians through tuition-free opportunities.
