Trained at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, Braumer honed his craft through early involvement with Hessen’s youth jazz programs like Kicks and Sticks and international youth tours. A member of the Bundesjazzorchester in 2021, he has since built a refreshed, contemporary voice in modern jazz.

Based in Cologne, Braumer remains active in the region’s vibrant live scene, including performances with the Stefan Schöler Trio and other Cologne-area venues. His work blends tight rhythmic vocabulary with expressive, exploratory percussion, appealing to fans of contemporary European jazz and improvisation.
