The Brewcity Bruisers Roller Derby, founded in late 2005, proudly represents Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in the world of women's flat track roller derby. Created by skaters Jesse Jameson, Butch Cassidy, and Cris Carny Power, the Bruisers have grown into a respected member of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) with two travel teams, the All-Stars (A-Team) and Battlestars (B-Team). With Milwaukee-area venues hosting many bouts, the Bruisers bring fast-paced, strategic skating and hard-hitting bouts to fans year after year.

In 2025, the Bruisers marked their 20th season, continuing a legacy that includes the 2017 Milwaukee Roller Derby Championship victory by Maiden Milwaukee. The team maintains a strong home base at the New Berlin Sportsplex, while also visiting other venues for select bouts to bring the action closer to fans across the region. A 2016 documentary, Roller Life, offered an intimate look at a Bruisers season, highlighting the dedication and community around the sport.
