Brian Chase is a conservatory-trained jazz drummer and a prolific figure in experimental, improvisational music. Best known as a founding member of Drums & Drones and as a longtime contributor to the art-rock outfit Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Chase has built a career around Just Intonation, drone textures, and embedded musical explorations. He leads Chaikin Records and collaborates with a diverse network of artists across independent labels and performance spaces. His work blends precision, timbre, and exploratory rhythms, making every performance a unique listening experience.
