Quick Facts About Bridge School Benefit

• Bridge School Benefit ran almost every October at Shoreline Amphitheatre, Mountain View, CA from 1986 to 2016 (except 1987) and was organized by Neil Young and Pegi Young to fund The Bridge School. The reserved seats alone raised over a million dollars annually.
• The last Bridge School Benefit took place in October 2016; in 2017 Neil Young and Pegi Young announced the Concerts would no longer continue after their divorce.
• The Bridge School Concerts releases include The Bridge School Concerts, Vol. 1 (1997), The Bridge School Collection, Vol. 1 (2006), and The Bridge School Concerts 25th Anniversary Edition (2011). These compilations document the benefit performances over the years.
• Harvest Moon: A Gathering (Harvest Moon) debuted in 2019 and, in 2025, returned as a day-long benefit featuring Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts with Beck and Lana Del Rey, benefiting The Painted Turtle and The Bridge School. The 2025 edition was planned for October 25, 2025 at The Painted Turtle in Lake Hughes, CA.
• Harvest Moon 2025 is a separate event from Bridge School Benefit, continuing Young’s philanthropic work after the Bridge School Benefit’s end.
• Bridge School’s official site remains bridgeschool.org; Neil Young maintains a visible social presence (e.g., X/@neilkyoung) and the Harvest Moon event has its own site and related press coverage.
