Biography
Brightviolet is the NYC-based project of Sam Molinaro, focusing on grooved-forward electronic music with indie, pop, lo-fi, bubble-gum trap, and golden-age hip-hop influences. Molinaro’s production emphasizes warmth and tactile textures, creating a distinct voice in modern electronic indie circles.

Discography Highlights
Orchid (self-released, Bandcamp) debuted June 14, 2019, introducing immersive, texture-rich soundscapes. Capsule followed in October 2023 as a Bandcamp single, continuing the project’s intimate, forward-thinking approach. In 2024, Brightviolet released two singles: 2High4Me (July 19) and Freeak (December 6).
