Brother Maker is a high-energy, blues-tinged funk project born from the collaboration of former Turkuaz members Craig Brodhead, Michelangelo Carruba, Chris Brouwers, Greg Sanderson, and Taylor Shell. Paulie Philippone joined in as a live performer, bringing additional groove when the group hits the stage, notably at the Brooklyn Bowl in 2021. The band has been noted in the New York jam scene for its dynamic instrumental originals and spirited covers, delivering engaging shows that fuse funk propulsion with bluesy sensibilities.
