Russell Johnson Music Guild Concerto Competition and the Presser Award for Graduate Research. Fareed’s work with Temple University’s Constant Renaissance earned GRAMMY-nomination recognition, and he also serves as a split-lead trumpet with the U.S. Air Force's Airmen of Note as of 2023.
