Bushwig is more than a festival — it’s a global queer festival ecosystem that began in 2011 in Brooklyn and grew into a major celebration of drag, live music, and community. Founded by Horrorchata and Babes Trust, Bushwig quickly earned the nickname "Coachella of drag" for its bold, multi-stage experience and inclusive lineup. Today, Bushwig stages have moved to the Knockdown Center in Queens to accommodate larger audiences, while continuing to host performers from around the world.
