Byu Ballroom Dance Company, part of Brigham Young University’s renowned ballroom program, blends tradition with high-energy performance. Founded in 1960 by professor Benjamin F. de Hoyos and his wife Josephine, this program has grown into one of the largest collegiate ballroom programs in the world. Under the leadership of current directors Curt and Sharon Holman, the touring company features roughly 160 student dancers who bring formation, Latin, and standard dances to stages across the country and around the world.
